Tachophobia E.P. is the solo debut for Dalí Mesquita out now on Townhouse Records.

Dalí starts out as DJ in the illegal rave circuit during the Covid lockdown years then ends up as dancer with Flamman & Abraxas and producer with Hakkende Manne. With Hakkende Manne he co-produces "Poep In Je Hoofd" and the Flamman & Hakkende Manne Remix of Mojo Fyre's "New Vibration".

Switching from Flamman & Abraxas to the Party Animals, he performs every weekend as dancer and MC and can be heard as backing-vocalist on the latest Party Animals release, "Funny".

Dalí continues production with Flamman & Hakkende Manne - the next release "Harder dan de Rest" is on its way - and he is working hard on his solo-album.

Tachophobia is a first taste of his journey to that album. An E.P. with three titles, fully instrumental with styles ranging from Hardcore to Drum & Bass and Techno with car driving as common thread.

Townhouse Records

Townhouse Records is a label / music production house out of Amsterdam, from the Albert Cuyp Market area known as De Pijp. The first release, "Poep In je Hoofd" by Hakkende Manne takes place on October 30, 2023.

The label is established by Jeroen Flamman of Lower East Side Records known from Party Animals, Flamman & Abraxas, Fierce Ruling Diva, Patrick Jumpen a.o.

Townhouse Records is co-run by Nick Burlage and Dalí Mesquita, two multi talented and highly driven Amsterdam musical locals with a strong background in the local (semi-, il-) legal rave scene.

Townhouse Records is setup as launchpad for releasing in-house productions, varying in BPM from 115 to 200 and the first release is the fastest one right away.

Later we hope to connect and collaborate with others and have new artists signed to Townhouse Records en publisher Townhouse Music.

Hakkende Manne

Electropunk, Early/Happy Hardcore with Nick Burlage as producer and lead vocalist with co-producers Dalí Mesquita and Jeroen Flamman.

De Hakkende Manne debut release "Poep In je Hoofd" is a cover of de Raggende Manne, originally performed by Geert Timmers a/k/a Bob Fosko of Hakkuhbar. "Poep In je Hoofd" comes in two flavors: the Electropunk Radio Mix and the Happy Hardcore Mix.

Jeroen, Dalí and Nick produced a remix for Mojo Fyre, "New Vibration (Flamman Presents: Hakkende Manne RMX)".

A third track by Hakkende Manne is "Harder Dan De Rest (Early Hardcore Mix)", which can be streamed on SoundCloud.

After successful live try-outs, a.o. in Goffertpark, Nijmegen and at Dicky Woodstock Festival the debut performance by Hakkende Manne takes place on November 18, 2023 in the Milky Way (Melkweg) Amsterdam at the "Everybody Happy" event.

Flamman|Mesquita

Productions by Jeroen Flamman and Dalí Mesquita with Dalí as lead vocalist. Flamman|Mesquita had some successful live tryouts, a.o. in Sexyland, Goffertpark and Paradiso. A release on Townhouse Records is pending.
